
A significant increase in children’s participation in badminton has been announced today, being driven by participation outside of school.
The findings, from Sport Avenue in relation to various clubs in USA, shows that once a week participation has risen to 230,400 last year.

Guidelines
Within the overall sporting sector, almost half of children in USA now take part in an average of 60 minutes of physical activity per day. This is up 3.6% from last year.
These figures mean that 3.3 million children now meet the new recommended Chief Medical Officer Guidelines. This is 279,600 more children than last year.
